Our passion is to produce a stunningly beautiful longbow which shoots with exceptional performance. From the basic Lemonwood and Bamboo bow, to the top end, Ipe, Lemonwood and Bamboo high performance bow, we aim to deliver a fast, smooth and shock free shooting experience. Bamboo is used in all of our stock longbows as we believe that this gives the most consistent cast, however, using woods of your choice we will happily craft a bow to your requirements.
Our deluxe range of longbows combine the performance of Bamboo with either Osage Orange or Snake Wood. The wonderful shooting experience coupled with the opulence of these exotic woods is sure to have people talking.
We do not limit ourselves to laminates and can also produce the more traditional self bows in Yew, Osage or your choice of wood, each providing their own special shooting characteristics.
Many years of crafting, testing and shooting has led us to believe that a laminate of Ipe, Lemonwood and Bamboo will deliver a longbow which is smooth, feels comfortable at full draw and produces a sweet shot with excellent cast.
Every longbow, as every archer, is unique. Our mix of experience, patience and exacting standards for detail is blended in to each and every one.
Every effort is made to ensure all Adrian Hayes longbows are finished to our (and your) demanding specifications; a bow will not leave our workshop until we are happy it is a bow worthy of the Adrian Hayes name. We would be proud to shoot each and every one ourselves.
